Pediatrics is one of the most challenging patient populations for innovation. With many of our patient populations relying on Medicaid or CHIP as payors and the nature of decreasing reimbursement rates for these vulnerable populations the incentive structure isn’t aligned for cutting edge research and development. Many of us rely heavily on patient advocacy groups and we at Reddy Teddy are no different.
We want to extend a huge Thank You to the Center for Advancing Innovation and the Innovate Children’s Health Challenge. Over the last several months we our team has had access to amazing resources and mentors dedicated to the pursuit of advancing pediatric care. We will continue to drive innovation and provide the resources to reduce the frequency of unnecessary sedation.
